Outwood WI July Newsletter

Our Summer Lunch is on Tues 3^rd Aug at 12.30pm. Tickets are available from

Sue McIntosh today or before July 16^th.

The cost is £7.Cheques to "Outwood WI" please.

We welcome Ms Julia Forsyth as our speaker today on "My Life in Saddlery". We are very grateful to her for replacing, at short notice, our booked speaker who is unwell.

2) Harvest Supper and Irish Dancing - Fri 17^th Sept - 7pm - East Horsley - £10 (P.8 S.News)

3) Scrabble Fun Day - Fri 1^st Oct - 10pm - Betchworth -

Scrabble players are reminded to fill in the form on the back of their June "Surrey News" and bring it with a cheque for £6.50 to the next Scrabble morning so that they can be be sent off together.

4) " Honey for the Honies" - Fri 15^th Oct - 2 - 4pm - East Horsley - £7.50 (P.8 S.News)

Surrey Air Ambulance is requesting volunteer collectors between 20^th - 26^th Sept

Our Own W I matters:-

i) We need a volunteer to make 4 birthday posies for the Summer Lunch.

ii) We rely on you all to help with the Summer Lunch! So please sign up for dishes etc and to help as requested.

iii) Scrabble morning - Thurs 8^th July - 10.30 am - Paula's

iv) Book Clubs - Mon12^th & Tues 13^th July

v) Knit and Natter - Wed 14^th July - 2pm - Paula's

Paula will be contacting you shortly about traybakes or small cakes and helping with the teas for the Outwood Show on Sat Sept 4^th.

Don't forget the British Legion Tea Party at 3pm on Sat July 24^th at The Old Farmhouse, Wasp Green Lane (Judi's)
