09/0301 Apologies Mr N Shaw and Mr P Jenn
09/0302 Minutes The minutes of the March meeting were approved and signed
09/0303 Declarations Cllr Yeldham regarding church request for donation
09/0304County Councillor Not present and no report
09/0305 District Councillor Cllr Fitzgerald reported that The Castle and Beechfield are to go to planning committee in April. TDC legal department are reviewing the recent developments on the Sawmills site. Reigate and Banstead have objected to Tone application. Clare Coutinho has contacted TDC regarding Sawmills application due to the weight of public opinion. Cllr Bourne advised that TDC planning department and enforcement are under extreme pressure. Please advise Tandridge Councillors of any concerns.
09/0306 NT Ms Yoxall reported that she is now covering other sites as well as Outwood and she is currently based at Leith Hill. The Outwood NT office is not yet open as it is not covid compliant. She is trying to arrange to get the NT volunteers back on projects.
09/0307 Planning 2021/170 Stewart Cottage, Miller’s Lane Demolition of existing garage and replacement with new outbuilding for ancillary use to the main home. Erection of single storey rear extension, dormer windows and new gable ended roof extension with higher ridge to allow accommodation within the roof level. No local objections
09/0308MUGA/Wells Field Glenn Biddle will be cutting the Wells Field. Some mole damage has been reported; no action to be taken
09/0309 Training Cllr Howard reported on the recent Code of Conduct meeting. Cllr Howard will attend a Grant Application workshop in April
09/0310 OCCG Someone from the NT will be represented on the Climate Change Committee. The website has now been created.
09/0311 Open Space Strategy The Open Strategy document was discussed.
09/0312 Law and Order Police – not present
Neighbourhood Watch – not present and no report
Speedwatch - not present and no report.
09/0313Reports Highways and Speed Limits – nothing to report
Lloyd Hall – It is hoped that The Village Show will go ahead on 4th September
Aviation and Transport- Mr Frow was present but had nothing to report. Mr Blackmore reported on a planning application submitted by Redhill Aerodrome for new taxiway.
Community matters-
Churchyard extension – The notice about the CPO is now up and there have been no objections. Planning permissions runs out by Feb 2022 so will need to start the project by then.
The Castle- Cllr Wyer updated on the progress with The Castle. The committee has received pledges so far for £170,000. There is concern that the site is at the moment not secure and is very unsightly.
Trim trail- Cllr Howard has received a grant of £1500 from TVA so now have a total of £2400 towards this project
09/0314 Finance 090314/1 The payments list was approved.
090314/2 Report from Clerk accepted. Defibrillator installed at Dog and Duck – documents are required in order to be registered for warranty nd with SECAMB
090314/3 Motion to commit £3000 to purchase of land for churchyard extension Prop Cllr Howard Sec Cllr Baldock. Carried unanimously
