Minutes of the Council Meeting held virtually on Tuesday 13^th April 2021

13/0401 Apologies                         Landlords of the Dog and Duck and Cllr Bourne

               

13/0402 Minutes                            The minutes of the March meeting were approved and signed

13/0404County Councillor         Not present and no report

13/0405 District Councillor       Cllr Fitzgerald reported he would raise the issue of food bins  that have not been emptied this week. Cllr Fitzgerald will urgently check whether  Beechfield  and Sawmills applications are to go to planning committee  on 29^th April.

13/0406 NT                                      Cllr Baldock reported on latest activity

13/0407 Planning                           Dog and Duck – variation of premises licence. Happy with the variation based on assurances provided 2021/496 Ashdown, 1 Millers Copse Demolition of existing garage, erection of new timber garage.  No Local objections 2021/651/TCA 2 Sunnyside Cottages, Scotts Hill Ash Tree - Fell - (S211 notice) no local objections

For discussion - 23^rd April planning visit to Sawmills  The Castle and Beechfields Planning Committee hearings on 29th April

13/0408MUGA/Wells Field        Safety inspection report by Safeplay contains out of date information and photographs; Clerk and MUGA Committee are awaiting a response

13/0409 Training                             Cllr Howard is attending a Grant Application workshop this month  . SALC meeting re planning discussed

13/0410 OCCG                                  Motion to approve initial payment of £6000 once funds from the Energy Hub have been received prop Cllr Wyer, sec Cllr Yeldham; carried unanimously

13/0411 Meetings                          May meeting on 4^th May. June 8^th meeting will be in Church Room

Lloyd Hall – Cllr Gosling reported on the latest news from the Lloyd Hall.

Aviation and Transport- Nothing to report

Community matters-

Village Show. Insurance queries been dealt with; the Village Show does need to be a subcommittee of the Parish Council for insurance cover reasons.

Churchyard extension – No update

The Castle- No update

Trim trail- More funds being researched
