MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF OUTWOOD PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON 1ST MARCH 2023 IN THE CHURCH ROOM, WASP GREEN LANE, OUTWOOD

03/0610                MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING 

  1. To approve the Minutes of the meeting held on 8th February 2023 – The minutes of the previous meeting had been circulated in advance and were proposed, seconded and signed as a true record.                                                                                                                                                                                     RESOLVED
  2. Matters Arising - not covered elsewhere on the agenda
    1. The Clerk was asked to produce the annual front-page notice in Outwood News
    2. TDC confirmed that they would empty any additional Dog waste bins – it was AGREED to order two additional bins
    3. The situation with the deterioration of the Windmill has now been reported to the Senior Enforcement Office at TDC and the Historic Officer at SCC.
    4. The condition of Gayhouse Lane had been reported to SCC, who state the condition of the road is satisfactory and no action is required.

03/0612                COUNTY COUNCILLOR’S REPORT – Cllr C Farr reported as follows:

  • SCC will be taking over the responsibility for on-street parking from 1st April
  • A judicial review on the ULEZ scheme will be taking place.
  • Plans to take over the implementation of planning decisions.

03/0617                TO CONSIDER ACTIONS FOR CORONATION OF KING CHARLES III

  1. Monday 8th May, between 1-4pm will be the day of the community picnic to celebrate the Coronation.                                                                                                                        RESOLVED
  2. The ‘community voluntary work’ will be done on the same day.  Lloyd Hall would prefer volunteers to do some of the following jobs:
    1. Dig holes for new signboard
    2. Clear out back store room – approximately 6 people (most needed)
    3. Deep clean the kitchens, but not ovens – 3-4 people
