The following questions and points were raised by the public:

  • Was there any news on the ‘car restoration business’ at Sawmills. – No-one has formally reported this to TDC for investigation and/or enforcement.
  • Concern was raised on the increase in activity and potential infringement of planning law at the Tone Scaffolding Site in Green Lane.  Representations were made requesting Outwood PC to join forces with other parishes in demanding action from Tandridge District Council.  It was pointed out that Outwood PC did not see this situation in the same way.  Cllr. Howard was worried about the use of inflammatory language and did not see that as a way forward.  It was stated that ‘not liking’ something did not make it illegal.  The site employed people in the locality and were also part of the community. The Council must take a balanced view on issues.
